Clare Licher's Essential Oils

PhiBee Aromatics is a family run, artisan essential oil distillery, located in Sedona, Arizona.  With over 30 years of experience wildcrafting the native plants of this magical region, we offer essential oils made with utmost attention to detail, quality and care for the environment.  This set represents gifts from the many varied and unique ecosystems in Arizona.

The Oils Included:

Arizona Corkbark Fir (Abies arizonica), a soothing and sweet smelling southwestern fir, from a 9,000 ft elevation on the sacred San Francisco Peaks.  This oil was gifted to RFK jr at the first rally in Phoenix, as a symbol of our support. 

Blue Spruce (Picea pungens) from the Kaibab Plateau.  This oil comes from the pristine, high elevation forests and meadowlands north of the Grand Canyon.  At the southern edge of their range, the trees produce a complex chemistry that has fruity top notes, sometimes reminiscent of passion fruit or mango.  

Desert Lavender (Hyptis emoryi) from the northern Sonoran desert.  This rare oil is from an ecosystem that receives less than 10 inches of rain per year.  Because if its slow growth and challenging conditions, we sometimes wait years between distillations.  It is always worth the wait.  The aroma has notes of pine, honey and lavender, and the common name was also derived from its cooling and soothing effects.

Mexican Arnica (Heterotheca subaxillaris) from the Sedona/ Verde Valley region.  This oil is extremely effective for aiding trauma, bruising and swelling, and has a unique summer field aroma.  It is a perfect addition to any travel kit!

Pinyon Pine (Pinus edulis) is a visual and aromatic icon of the Southwest.  The oil from trees in the Sedona area have a warm, resinous aroma, with a beautiful pineapple top note.

Snakeweed (Gutierrezia sarothrae) is a very complex plant medicinal plant.  Traditionally considered a panacea plant, its essential oil has over 170 aromatic components, and the aroma has notes of cumin, coriander, licorice and pine.
